Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays and I always look forward to dressing up and decorating!  Here are a few snapshots from our party and our festive weekend.  It was my first time dressing up as a witch and James went as The Spirit.  There were spooky bats and pumpkin cupcakes and spidery ice cubes, oh my!  Even Fox dressed up as Skele-pup!

Rockabilly Surprise

My good friend Elham threw a swell Rockabilly themed surprise birthday party for her husband, Matt, and everything turned out marvelously!

And I can't forget about the beautiful and charming hostess!  She did an amazing job!

Unbirthday Party

 

Over the weekend I offered our house as the setting for Emily and Sarah's Mad Hatter Unbirthday Tea Party!  Complete with tea, tiny eats, the White Rabbit, and Chesire Cat.  It was my first "gig" as the "unofficial" photographer (disguised as the Mad Hatter) and I had a blast!  Here are some highlight shots from the day.

**I can't take credit for all the cute decor!  Emily and Sarah (and Scot) brought in armfuls of adorable decorations to turn my house and yards into Wonderland!

There were games galore!  Croquet was played with Flamingo Mallets, there were potato sack AND three legged races.

Harry Potter Party

A couple of weeks ago James and I hosted our very own Harry Potter Party in celebration of the newest film!  I re-read the whole series in anticipation for the first installment of the seventh film - what a blast!  I will never deny how much of a Harry Potter fan I am - and always will be!  I wish the series could continue forever, I love each character.  Reading and re-reading these books is so familiar and safe and heartwarming.  The perfect winter/holiday read!

Fiesta!

After this CRAZY week I am SO ready for my fabulous Bachelorette weekend in San Francisco!  I can't wait to spend a relaxing day with my friends.  It's just what I need!

But first I'm having a mexican fiesta tonight at our place to kick off the weekend!  Ole!

Tantalizing Tahoe

I spent this past weekend celebrating a good friend's bachelorette party in South Lake Tahoe, one of my favorite summer destinations!  If only summer could last forever (and if only I didn't have to worry about that pesky full-time work schedule...)!
