See You Soon
Dear Readers (all two of you!),
I'm taking a short break from this space. I feel I've been running dry on inspiration and I need to regroup! There are a few areas in my life that need some attention at the moment but I'll be back soon - I can't leave this space for long!
Love,

A Challenge Accepted!
Another new year! And new beginnings. I don't care how cliched it is but there is no bigger beginning than the start of a new year. I'm all about schedules and timing and the OCD girl inside of me loves starting things at the "beginning".
So, here goes.
So, here goes.
I am promising myself to take part in Whole Living's 28-Day Action Plan Challenge! I've already signed up for the daily challenges that will be emailed to me every morning throughout the month. This journey is all about becoming healthier and cleansing toxins that have crept in throughout the year!
Having a community support system (albeit online) is so comforting to me as I embark on this journey. This is a challenge and something I haven't tried before - a cleanse diet! I realize there is always room to becoming a healthier, happier person and I'd like to take a more active approach to achieving my health and wellness goals.
My dear blog will be the perfect ear for when my frustrations and temptations creep back!
Tomorrow is Day One!

Yoga Recap
Last night I completed my yoga class.... and.... I enjoyed it! I'm so happy I stuck with it for the month because I realized it's not so bad after all.
It's a great time to relax and be present, to stretch and exercise, and to focus on yourself. I'm looking forward to exploring some other classes - I've found a few that should help with my stress levels during tax season.
Merry Christmas!

Time of Your Life
"In the time of your life, live—so that in that good time there shall be no ugliness or death for yourself or for any life your life touches. Seek goodness everywhere, and when it is found, bring it out of its hiding place and let it be free and unashamed.
Place in matter and in flesh the least of the values, for these are the things that hold death and must pass away. Discover in all things that which shines and is beyond corruption. Encourage virtue in whatever heart it may have been driven into secrecy and sorrow by the shame and terror of the world. Ignore the obvious, for it is unworthy of the clear eye and the kindly heart.
Be the inferior of no man, or of any men be superior. Remember that every man is a variation of yourself. No man's guilt is not yours, nor is any man's innocence a thing apart. Despise evil and ungodliness, but not men of ungodliness or evil. These, understand. Have no shame in being kindly and gentle but if the time comes in the time of your life to kill, kill and have no regret.
In the time of your life, live—so that in that wondrous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but shall smile to the infinite delight and mystery of it."

Should I?
I came across this article while flipping through my mom's Oprah magazine and it really struck a chord in me:
When to Forgive and When to Hold a Grudge
Recently I've found myself expecting less from others so as not to feel disappointed if they let me down and I thought I was, perhaps, selling them short. After reading this article I have confirmed that my actions are in the name of self preservation. There are certain types of people I'll always have a "grudge" against - and not necessarily in a negative way but in a way that lets me still enjoy our relationship freely.
