Oscar Favorites

This year J and I didn't quite meet our goal of watching all the Oscar nominated films (only 2!) but I still enjoyed watching the show - and the red carpet!  Tonight I had a few favorites. 



Rooney Mara stole my heart with this hair and makeup - I love her style.

I don't always love what Angelina wears but I definitely LOVED this black dress (although I think she'd look lovelier if she put on about 10lbs!)!  And Milla Jovovich looked incredible - what a gorgeous wedding dress that would make!  Octavia Spencer looked beautiful and I was so happy she won for her role in The Help - great movie (and even better book!).

Summer Cravings

DAY Birger et Mikkelsen racerback dress, Burberry caftan top, Zimmermann swimwear, Dorothy Perkins wide leg pants, Mar Y Sol stripe handbag, CC SKYE bangles jewelry, Ray-Ban mirrored sunglasses, ASOS oversized straw hat.

I'm totally craving all these fabulous items!  I probably have variations of these outfits in my closet already but it's fun to daydream about upgrades!  I'm dying to find a great one-piece bathing suit and I've always wanted some official Ray Ban aviators!  These pieces would look great on any vacation, next to any pool/beach, or even hanging out at home.

We are heading down to Los Angeles this weekend to visit my best friend and these pieces would be the perfect things to pack!

My Future

I don't have children but I can guarantee if I had a little daughter running around she'd be wearing these delicious outfits!  I'm melting just imagining it!

Sew in Love

The all-new season of Project Runway starts tonight!  And in honor of the season premiere I'd like to look back at one of my very favorite designers, Korto Momolu.  How amazing does she look?  Every week I loved seeing her designs and her personal sense of style.  I could (and would) wear everything in her collection.  Her designs excite me and I wish she had a boutique of her own!  I'd buy it all.

India Inspired

Like some fellow bloggers, I also feel inspired by Anthropologie's May catalog.  It has me itching to buy their entire inventory and buy a one way ticket to India - or anywhere.

All The Rage!

I found the most amazing little black dress little turquoise dress.  I saw it, needed it, grabbed it, bought it, wore it, LOVED it.  When you wear something you feel comfortable in and l-l-love, you glow!
