Her expressive, kind eyes and curious, wet nose. The wagging tail and unbridled excitement. Her soft ears that always listen and her little loves that make all bad days disappear.
She doesn't care what I look like, how much money I make, what my dress size is, or where I live. She never takes me for granted, always enjoys my presence, and radiates joy. She doesn't ask for anything in return - except maybe a game (or five) of tug-o-war.
Just one look at that scruffy face is all I need.
