Happy Christmas Eve!

We are gearing up for our first Christmas Eve dinner - our first time hosting at our home!  Last night I set the table and put the finishing touches on the decorations.  Today I'm busy as a bee cooking up a storm and having a blast!

Yoga Recap

Last night I completed my yoga class.... and.... I enjoyed it!  I'm so happy I stuck with it for the month because I realized it's not so bad after all.


It's a great time to relax and be present, to stretch and exercise, and to focus on yourself.  I'm looking forward to exploring some other classes - I've found a few that should help with my stress levels during tax season.

Tuesday Tune (Christmas Edition... again!)

One of my favorite Christmas cd's is the Elf movie soundtrack.  All the songs are upbeat and festive and it's an overall wonderful mix of sounds!  Here are some of my favorites:

Harry Potter Party

A couple of weeks ago James and I hosted our very own Harry Potter Party in celebration of the newest film!  I re-read the whole series in anticipation for the first installment of the seventh film - what a blast!  I will never deny how much of a Harry Potter fan I am - and always will be!  I wish the series could continue forever, I love each character.  Reading and re-reading these books is so familiar and safe and heartwarming.  The perfect winter/holiday read!
