Jerusalem, Israel [Honeymoon Part Five]

Jerusalem is an amazing and mystical place - an ancient walled city, golden domes, archways, narrow cobbled streets, glittering treasures, and people from all nations.  I felt a million years away walking through the narrow streets passing numerous shops and eateries, churches, and even camels!  We saw the wailing wall and the Via Dolorosa!


After touring through the old city of Jerusalem, we left our Israeli guide as we passed through into the Palestinian controlled Bethlehem.  We had to have a Palestinian guide with us as we visited the Church of the Nativity.  I definitely had a fantasy image of "the little town of Bethlehem" in my mind and the real town didn't match that image - but still, how amazing to see this place!
